Apparel manufacturing uses materials, packaging, energy and transportation. We recognise these impacts and believe responsible improvement comes from practical action rather than broad environmental claims. Our approach is to reduce unnecessary materials and waste where practical while continuing to produce durable garments capable of performing properly.
Lower-Impact Garment Packaging
Briz Apparel Group has been using compostable/biodegradable garment bags for years, reducing our reliance on conventional single-use plastic garment packaging.
For large school and team orders containing many individually packaged garments, this can make a meaningful difference to the amount of conventional plastic packaging used.
Recycled Packaging
Where practical, we use recycled/recyclable cartons and packaging materials for transportation and order consolidation.
We also seek to avoid unnecessary packaging while ensuring products remain properly protected during transport.
Recycled-Content Fabrics
Selected products can use recycled-content fabrics where appropriate to the customer’s requirements and the garment’s intended use.
Material selection must still satisfy the required standards for comfort, durability and performance.
Product Longevity Matters
Sustainability isn’t only about what a garment is made from. Products that perform properly and remain usable for longer can reduce unnecessary replacement.
For this reason, durability and long-term performance remain important considerations in our product development and material selection.
Continuous Improvement
We continue to investigate opportunities involving:
Packaging
Recycled Materials
Resource Efficiency
Waste Reduction
Product Longevity
We don’t claim that every product or process is environmentally perfect. Our commitment is to continue identifying practical opportunities to reduce impact as better materials and technologies become available.
